13-hour brownout scheduled in parts of Iloilo City on Sept. 20

Parts of Iloilo City will experience a 13-hour brownout on Sunday, September 20.

The scheduled power interruption will affect the entire districts of Molo and Arevalo from 4 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Other affected areas are the following:

◾Portions of City Proper
    -From Rizal Ibarra to Tanza Baybay
    -From corner Rizal to Sta. Teresita Catholic Church
    -Iloilo Super Market
   -Whole of Fuentes and Jalandoni Streets to Delgado Street
   -Ledesma Street to Corner Mabini Street

◾Portions of Mandurriao district
   -From Tabucan to San Rafael including Plazuela 1 & 2 and Gaisano ICC
   -R. Mapa Street, portion of Megaworld to Emperador Warehouse

More Electric and Power Corp. (MORE Power), in its advisory, said the power shutdown would pave the way for assessment and comprehensive maintenance of 25/30 MVA Molo Substation and parallel corrective maintenance of Molo Feeders 1,2,3,4, and 5.IMT
